The Future of Food
These are Russian Fingerlings. I planted them Saturday, a bit behind schedule but I think we'll have no trouble getting potatoes. I also planted some red-skinned potatoes I had on hand with plenty of well-formed eyes. Potatoes are easy to grow and I have had success in large Rubbermaid trash cans, the ground, and now the glass recycling bins we get from the city. We no longer need to separate the glass from the other products so we have two great heavy-duty bins for potatoes.
