Take a look at these cookies I just received (literally minutes ago) in the mail from my Mom, part of an early birthday package (birthday is later this month). She talked about making this recipe but kept the owls a secret. She knows I dig owls.
Ginger molasses and delicious! I should add that she cut these free-hand. The one eye shut is an inside family joke but not an uncommon owl expression.Thanks Mom!
